Cat 1 – Fishery accessible to a wheelchair user fishing independently.

Set in a secluded wood, Tucking Mill is located in the attractive Midford Valley, south of Bath. A network of paths link it to Bath, Midford and Monkton Combe.

Wessex Water offers free coarse fishing for disabled anglers at this small water storage lake. The lake is stocked with roach, chub, tench and large carp.

Fishing is allowed between 8am and sunset throughout the year except in the closed season. There are six specially designed wheelchair platforms with space for two wheelchairs each plus further platforms for more mobile anglers.

Each disabled angler may bring along an able-bodied assistant who may also fish but has to use the same site. No keep nets are permitted for pleasure fishing.
