All set for the new season.

Saddleworth School worked with the Environment Agency to develop a previously derelict pool, close to the school, to open up the possibility of fishing as an extra-cirricular activity. Dreamstore provided a small grant to enable equipment to be purchased from Preston Innovations to help with the development of school Club.  But the weather to the end of 2012 Autumn term was miserable.

2013 must bring better weather for anglers everywhere? Mustn’t it? When the season opens and the weather is good Saddleworth School is ready.

Andrew Pheby, Learning Mentor at Saddleworth School looks forward to the new season and encouraging more pupils to take part in angling activities. He wrote to us:

“Dreamstore’s generous gift has revived our fishing club; indeed with our limited financial resources we would not have been able to continue offering pupils to participate in this sport due to the fact that our current equipment badly needed replacing.”

All the best to everyone taking part in angling activities at the school. Tight lines.
