Browning Sponsors Dreamstore Academy

Dreamstore Academy is delighted to announce that it has attracted Browning as a major sponsor. Browning is the benchmark brand of Zebco Sports Europe Ltd, and is the one with which most anglers associate the company. Browning will be the official equipment supplier to Dreamstore Academy for the next three years. The ground-breaking sponsorship agreement will be worth in the region of £30,000 to Dreamstore Academy, with Browning providing coarse, sea and game equipment from its extensive catalogue.
Welcoming the association of Browning with the Dreamstore Academy, David Hoey of Dreamstore Academy says:
“The sponsorship support to Dreamstore Academy by a significant angling brand such as Browning Fishing is a great boost to angling participation though improved coaching provision within education, youth and community activities. Dreamstore Academy was created to provide a fast learning environment for education, youth and community professionals who will be able to use their 1st4Sport Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Angling to expand their work. Around 40 have registered for the 2005 course. Having the best of equipment to use throughout the week is a huge benefit to the delivery of the Dreamstore Academy course.”
Anthony Connolly, Director of Zebco Sports Europe Ltd (UK), believes that its sponsorship is an investment in the future of angling:
“Browning sees benefit in this sponsorship at two levels. First, training coaches who already work in education, youth and community work is inspired. Dreamstore Academy will have a beneficial impact on angling participation from the moment the first graduates complete their L2 and become licensed coaches. Second, the quality of the planning, presentation and participation is outstanding. Dreamstore Academy expresses the same attention to detail and quality of content that we like to think is applied to Browning products. Browning and Dreamstore Academy are a perfect match, which makes the sponsorship package mutually beneficial.”
“Dreamstore Academy believes in excellence and we are also pleased that a number of our sponsored team members have expressed a wish to attend the course. It can only be good for the future of angling when our top anglers take a lead in building the next generation of enthusiasts. Zebco Sports Europe Ltd is very proud that it will have within its teams’ members who will be passing on excellence in angling to others. We hope to be further working with Dreamstore UK to develop ideas on angling participation in the months and years ahead.”
David Hoey concludes:
“Dreamstore Academy has around 40 individuals going through the core of the 1st4Sport Level 2 CCA in the week commencing 25th July. That’s more coaches going through the Level 2 course at one time than ever has been attempted before. We have twelve coaching tutors working with us for the week, as well as specialists in Child Protection, First Aid, and Disability Awareness: Disability Awareness is being included in the L2 curriculum for the first time. Most of those attending have already chosen to specialise in coarse or game angling for their Certificate, though we are also taking time to show everyone the accessibility of sea angling. Dreamstore Academy is an exciting initiative and we have a great team helping us to deliver new coaches into angling across the country.”
